Harmonics & Multi-Rate Meter
The SS3 adds harmonic analysis and multi-tariff energy registers to the SS2 foundation. It measures individual harmonic orders, total harmonic distortion (THD) for both voltage and current, and maintains separate energy totals for multiple tariff periods — making it the right choice for utility billing, power quality investigations, and time-of-use energy management.
Harmonic analysis to 31st order — measures THD-V and THD-I per phase, and individual harmonic magnitudes for diagnostics and power quality reporting.
Multi-tariff energy registers — separate energy totals for peak, off-peak, and shoulder tariff periods. Simplifies time-of-use billing for commercial and industrial facilities.
Full power quality parameters — V, I, kW, kVAr, kVA, PF, Hz, energy import/export plus harmonics, all logged and available over RS485 Modbus RTU.
Ideal for utility sub-metering — multi-tariff support and harmonic logging make the SS3 suitable for revenue sub-metering in commercial buildings and industrial parks.

Smart Meter — Extended I/O
The SS4‑237C is built on the proven SS4 platform and adds an extended digital I/O configuration designed for advanced BMS and SCADA integration. Where the standard SS4 has 2 digital inputs and an energy pulse output, the SS4‑237C provides additional I/O channels for relay outputs, alarm signalling, multi-tariff switching, and PLC integration — all within the same 96×96 mm form factor.
All SS4 capabilities included — IEC 62053-22 Class 0.5S accuracy, harmonics to 31st order, demand tracking, and energy import/export registers carry over unchanged.
Extended digital I/O — additional digital inputs and outputs for relay alarm output, 3-tariff switching, and programmable digital output for PLC integration.
Drop-in upgrade from SS4 — same 96×96 mm cutout, same RS485 Modbus RTU register map. No panel modification or re-wiring of the RS485 bus needed.

Energy Management Software
EMMS is the cloud-connected software platform that sits above the Sinusoid meter hardware — aggregating real-time data from multiple SS meters across one or more sites, generating billing reports, and delivering consumption analytics through a web-based dashboard. It turns a network of RS485 Modbus meters into a complete energy management system without custom software development.
Multi-meter aggregation — connects to multiple Sinusoid meters across one or more sites over RS485 or Modbus TCP gateway. Single dashboard for your entire metering network.
Automated billing reports — generate PDF or CSV billing reports per tenant, circuit, or cost centre on daily, monthly, or custom periods. Eliminate manual spreadsheet work.
Consumption analytics — trend charts, peak demand profiles, load factor analysis, and energy cost breakdowns. Identify waste and optimise tariff selection.

Power Quality Analyzer
The SS5 is a panel-mount three-phase power quality analyzer designed for engineers who need more than energy totals. It captures the full picture of power quality events — harmonic distortion to the 51st order, voltage swell and dip events, inrush current transients, and phase unbalance — all in real time. Connect via Rogowski coil or voltage-type CT for live-line installation without any circuit shutdown.
Harmonics to 51st order — full THD-V and THD-I per phase, harmonic spectrum bar chart on display, and Modbus registers for each harmonic order individually.
Voltage swell, dip, and interruption detection — automatically records event timestamp, duration, magnitude, and phase. Critical for IEC 61000-4-30 power quality reporting.
Inrush current capture — detects motor start and transformer inrush events that standard meters miss. Helps right-size protection relays and VFDs.
Non-invasive Rogowski coil input — flexible open-end coil clips around live busbars or cables. Zero shutdown time. Standard 333 mV CT also supported.
RS485 Modbus RTU + RJ45 — daisy-chain with existing SS4 meters on the same bus. SCADA and BMS integration with no additional gateway hardware.

Multi-Circuit Smart Meter
The SS-MC monitors up to 32 electrical circuits from a single master unit — ideal for tenant sub-metering in commercial buildings, circuit-level monitoring in MCCs and data centres, and solar PV generation monitoring across multiple strings. Each submeter is just 18 mm wide (1P DIN), so an entire 32-circuit installation uses a fraction of the rail space of individual meters.
32 circuits per master — one RS485 Modbus RTU address reports all 32 circuit values. Simplifies SCADA configuration dramatically.
18 mm per submeter (1P DIN) — the most space-efficient sub-metering solution available. Fits inside existing MDB and LDB panels without extension.
Rogowski coil — live-line installation — sleeve the flexible coil around busbars or cables without powering down. No rewiring, no construction downtime.
Class 0.5S accuracy — IEC 62053-22 certified. Revenue-grade for tenant billing, cost allocation, and utility sub-metering applications.
Integrated power supply — master meter powers all submeters over the RJ45 daisy-chain. No separate PSU wiring required for each submeter.

Portable / Handheld Analyzer
The SS-H is a portable, battery-powered three-phase power quality analyzer built for field engineers, commissioning teams, and maintenance crews. With 8,000 samples per second and full harmonic analysis to the 51st order, it captures transient events and harmonic signatures that fixed meters miss. The Rogowski coil clips around live cables in seconds — inspect any circuit, anywhere, without a shutdown.
8,000 samples per second — 8× faster than standard 1 Hz SCADA polling. Captures transient events, motor inrush, and harmonic shifts that polling-based meters structurally cannot see.
51st harmonic analysis — real-time harmonic spectrum on a 3.5″ TFT display. Log results to 4 GB SD card for client reports.
~7 hours battery life — 4× AA batteries or 9 V DC adapter. Carry it from panel to panel across an entire building without recharging.
Live-line Rogowski coil — open-end flexible coil clips around any cable or busbar without powering down. Also accepts 333 mV CT input (BNC terminal).
RS485 + Modbus TCP — connect to a laptop or SCADA system while on-site. Export CSV logs from the SD card for power quality reports.

Motor load monitoring, demand management, power factor correction, and PF penalty avoidance for factories and process plants.
Tenant sub-metering, billing accuracy, and energy cost allocation for offices, malls, hospitals, and smart buildings.
Solar PV generation metering, import/export measurement, and grid-tie monitoring for net-metering installations.
DIN-mount, 96×96 mm standard form factor, Modbus RTU — drop-in for MCC panels, MDB, LDB, and switchgear.
Field engineers use portable analyzers to audit harmonics, voltage swell/dip, inrush current, and unbalance — live-line, no shutdown, with SD card logging for report generation.
Why Accuracy Matters
A ±2% meter error on a 100 kW load costs you thousands in billing disputes every year. Sinusoid's IEC-certified Class 0.5S meters eliminate the gap between measured and actual energy — from day one.
